When to tire vs tend the body is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve saved NSDR routines but haven’t tried them. Everyone’s talking about somatic healing and reparenting, and I’m looking for a standup desk at Costco. Not sure where this is going but I guess it’s time to experiment. Maybe do a little dancing when no one is around

This really resonates! I used to reach for NSDR or wind-down tools on nights when I actually needed motion and release. I’d wonder why it didn’t work. Now I stop overriding the signals and just let my body lead

It's great that you’re open to experimenting. Maybe that solo dance is exactly the right place to start

It’s 11:42pm and I’m glad a just read this. I am 54 and still working on figuring out what kind of tired I am on each given day! This resonates with me. Tonight I might not dance but move with some music.

I'll have to try this. I've been a poor sleeper since childhood, and I've tried everything - I thought - except sleeping pills, because Ambien and Lunesta scare me. My husband needs complete darkness and silence when he sleeps, but with headphones I should be able to figure this out! Thanx for the inspiration!
